Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Sunday Bible Readings (the "Service") operated by IMMOMAPS NV (BE0764 419 089). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

Sunday Bible Readings provides access to public-domain Bible translations, Sunday and daily readings, reading plans, bookmarks, and streaks. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to use the Service under the laws of your country or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

3. Free and Premium

Reading the Bible, Sunday/daily readings, reading plans and bookmarks are free. Premium features may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify Premium features while maintaining the overall value of the subscription.

4. Subscriptions, billing, auto-renewal

  • Price: €3.99 per month (or as displayed at checkout, which is authoritative).
  • Billing: Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You authorise Stripe and us to charge your payment method.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will not send a separate reminder before each renewal.
  • Cancelling: You can cancel at any time in Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Premium access until then.
  • Price changes: We will email you at least 30 days before any price change. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
  • Taxes: Prices include applicable VAT where required by law.

5. Refunds and consumer rights

See our Refund & Subscription Policy. EU/UK consumers retain statutory withdrawal rights under the Consumer Rights Directive.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) scrape or bulk-export the Service except via documented endpoints; (b) attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, or authentication; (c) resell or sublicense the Service; (d) upload illegal, harassing, or infringing content; (e) probe, attack, or disrupt the Service.

7. Content & intellectual property

Scripture texts are in the public domain. The Service's code, design, original text, and branding are owned by IMMOMAPS NV (BE0764 419 089) and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. User-generated content (e.g. diary entries) remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to store and display it back to you. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our original content without prior written permission.

8. Availability

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the Service for maintenance, updates, security, or technical reasons. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, power failures, natural disasters, acts of government, or failures of third-party providers.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) EUR 50. This does not limit liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or fraud.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence still apply.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
